Origin Parts/Spares

I have several Origin systems available at the moment; here are some example configurations (see after the table for full details). Use price differences between different R10K/180 systems to calculate alternative configurations, or contact me for a quote.

All Origin200 systems come with a free 32X CDROM already fitted (NEC 1910A).

Add 25 to include an extra disk sled.
Add 75 to include an extra 512MB RAM (2 x 256MB modules, SGI PN KSG-ORIGIN/512N)
Add 25 to include an extra 128MB RAM (2 x 64MB modules, SGI PN 030-1372-002)
Add 10 to include an extra 64MB RAM (2 x 32MB modules, SGI PN 030-0759-004)
Add 105 to include a Copper Gbit 10/100/1000 Ehernet Card (SGI PN 9470434)
Add 30 to include a Single-port UW QLOGIC 1040B PCI SCSI card (SE, 68pin)
Add 45 to include a Single-port UW QLOGIC 1040B PCI SCSI card (HVD, 68pin)
Add 35 to include a Single-port U2W QLOGIC 1080 PCI SCSI card (LVD/SE, VHDCI)
Add 40 to include a Dual-port U2W QLOGIC 1280 PCI SCSI card (LVD/SE. VHDCI)
Add 125 to include a Dual-port U160 QLOGIC 12160 PCI SCSI card (LVD/SE, VHDCI)

I only have rack-mount systems at the moment, ie. none of the 200s or Vaults have skins. However, this is ideal for stacking on top of something else, or to allow the top of the unit to be used as a storage surface (I used to have two rackmount Vaults vetically side by side - perfect little table).

All Origin200 systems come with a full 6.5.26m installation. I can customise the system settings as required (host name, IP address, gateway, DNS, etc.) to make installation easier.

See the Origin section on the Parts/Spares page for a full list of extras, and remember that many options for Octane (eg. internal DAT drives) can also be used in Origin.

I have various SCSI cables available for OriginVault units, or for Origin systems fitted with extra SCSI card(s), including VHDCI cables. See the SCSI Items page for details.

See the shipping costs page for details of postage charges to the UK, mainland Europe and beyond. A typical shipping cost for an Origin200 would be 25 UKP for a UK destination (by PF48) and around 30 to 90 UKP for a mainland European destination. Alternatively, a personal collection is welcome; I live in Edinburgh, Scotland. Note that the shipping costs may be higher for a system with many disks due to the extra weight, ie. I might have to use two boxes.
