Monitors and Monitor Cables

I have the following SGI Monitors and related cables/adapters for sale (any item
in italics is currently not in stock):
Monitors:
- SGI 1600SW Flat Panel Monitor (good condition, no dead pixels):
95 UKP (add 30 to include PSU)
- SGI 1600SW Flat Panel Monitor (good condition, 1 or 2 dead
pixels): 65 UKP (add 30 to include PSU)
- SGI granite GDM20E21 monitor: 55 UKP. In good condition, no marks,
etc. Dual-input HD15/13W3, so ideal for connecting to all types of
SGI, including Fuel/Tezro via the use of HD15/DVI adapter (see below).
Supports a much wider range of resolutions than the 20D11, including
1600x1200, various stereo modes, etc. Personal collection is best.
- SGI granite GDM17E21 dual-input 17" monitor: 40 UKP. In great
condition, has both HD15 and BNC inputs, supports resolutions not
possible with the D11/E11 series. BNC monitor/adapter cables
available below if required.
- SGI granite GDM17E11 17" monitor: 25 UKP. Good condition, a
single 13W3 socket. All the controls are on the front of the monitor.
Cables and Adapters:
- 1 metre HD15/HD15 monitor cable (original SGI granite): 10 UKP
- 2 metre 13W3 to DVI monitor cable (original SGI; rare!): 40 UKP
- Original SGI granite 13W3/HD15 male/male monitor cable: 35 UKP
- 13W3/HD15 monitor cable (home made by me, converted from SGI
13W3/13W3 cable): 35 UKP (male/male or male/female available as required).
Length can be whatever you like, from 'adapter' cable length of say 25cm
up to 3m - all the same price, up to you.
- 13W3/BNC monitor cable (home made by me, converted from SGI
13W3/13W3 cable): 35 UKP (or I can supply a high quality home-made 13W3-to-BNC-breakout-box for 50
which is much more sturdy)
- Original SGI Female 13W3 to 3-wire BNC RGB converter cable: 25 UKP
(SGI PN 018-0343-001; ideal for converting an ordinary 13W3/13W3
cable into a 13W3/BNC cable, eg. to link a 17E21 monitor to an SGI with
a 13W3 output)
- 1 metre 13W3/13W3 monitor cable (original SGI granite): 10 UKP
- 2 metre 13W3/13W3 monitor cable (original SGI granite): 15 UKP
- 3 metre 13W3/13W3 monitor cable (original SGI biege): 17.50 UKP
- 3 metre 13W3/13W3 monitor cable (original SGI granite): 20 UKP
- 10 metre 13W3/13W3 monitor cable (original SGI granite): 40 UKP
- Black 1.85m DVI to DVI cable: 12 UKP (never been used, still has
foam/plastic covers on both plugs. Ideal for use with Fuel/Tezro
systems, connecting to modern monitors and flat panels)
- Black 1.85m DVI to HD15 cable: 12 UKP (never been used, still has
foam/plastic covers on both plugs. Ideal for use with Fuel/Tezro
systems, connecting to modern monitors and flat panels, or SGI monitors
such as the 17E21, 20E21, 5411 and others with HD15 connectors)
- Female HD15 to DVI adapter: 7 UKP (never been used, still in
original bag. Ideal for connecting to an HD15 monitor via the use
of an ordinary HD15/HD15 cable)
Note that a monitor cable is normally not included with a monitor,
though an original appropriate cable is available for half price if a
monitor is bought with any system.
Shipping Costs
Due to the heavy weight of monitors, a personal collection is welcome
if preferred. Otherwise, the shipping cost for a 17" monitor is 15
UKP to a UK destination, while for a 20" or 21" monitor the shipping
cost is around 45 UKP; note that I have to use CityLink to send a 20"
or 21" monitor since the final box weight is too heavy for
ParcelForce.
Or I can deliver a monitor by hand if the travel details are not too
complicated. I've done this before, eg. taking a 20" monitor from
Preston to Leeds (back when I used to live in Preston). The buyer
merely covers my travel costs, etc.
With respect to cables, please see the shipping costs page for details of postage
charges to the UK, mainland Europe and beyond. For example though,
the 1st class postage cost for a 2m cable would be about 3 UKP to a
UK destination, though more valuable items such as my home made HD15
and BNC cables would go by Special Delivery to UK locations, or
International Signed For (insured airmail) to anywhere abroad.
